About Us: The Farmers Cooperative Elevator Association of Levelland, TX is a proud member-owned cooperative serving the agricultural community of Levelland and surrounding areas since 1956. We are committed to providing our members with high-quality fuel, grain marketing, and other essential services.
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Fuel Manager. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our fuel department, supporting the Fuel Manager, and providing exceptional customer service to our members and the community.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Fuel Manager with all aspects of fuel operations, including:
Ordering and receiving fuel deliveries
Managing fuel inventory levels
Scheduling fuel deliveries to members
Maintaining accurate records and reports
Performing inventory reconciliation
Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
Provide excellent customer service to members and the community, including:
Operating fuel pumps and dispensing fuel
Answering questions about fuel products and services
Processing payments and resolving customer concerns
Maintaining a clean and professional environment
Perform other duties as assigned, including:
Assisting with maintenance and repairs of fuel equipment
Participating in safety training and meetings
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the fuel department
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service environment
Strong working knowledge of fuel products and services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
