Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and bookkeeping processes. The ideal candidate will have previous bookkeeping experience, with a solid understanding of payroll, bank statement reconciliation, and general ledger management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure our financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, and managing multiple bank accounts.
Payroll Processing: Handle payroll functions, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits, and ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
Bank Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with GAAP.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, summaries, and statements for internal review and external reporting as needed.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including managing invoices, processing payments, and tracking outstanding balances.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support related to financial management, including filing, data entry, and handling financial inquiries.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous bookkeeping experience is highly preferred. Experience with payroll, bank statement reconciliation, and general ledger management is also preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required. Accounting software experience is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records and transactions.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and stakeholders.
