Producers Cooperative Elevator is looking for an experienced and dedicated General Manager who can lead the team with an effective strategy that optimizes the company's growth and value for our members. The General Manager is responsible for directing the company’s employees in an efficient and motivating way to ensure the goals and objectives of the company are met. Responsibilities include financial performance, team leadership, Board of Director and Member relations.

The successful candidate will have adequate experience in the following:

• Grain origination, hedging, trading, and the overall understanding of how to run a successful grain crop.

• Retail store operations including vendor relations, pricing, and inventory control.

• Fuel trading, contracting, pricing, and inventory management.

• Seed conditioning and seed sales.

• Understanding of a multi-faceted set of financials, ensuring the performance of each division.

• Provide guidance to the Board of Directors regarding financial health and overall operations of the business.

• Ability to motivate and lead a group of employees.

• Technologically proficient

Candidates must have the following:

• Bachelor's degree in a related major.

• Multiple years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in agriculture.

• Proven track record of successful leadership.

• Grain trading experience is highly preferred.
